As we prepare to wave goodbye to 2025, now is the perfect time to do those last jobs for the year. Here are three things you can do now to make 2026 easier:
- Review Your Financial Goals
We know, we know, we always have this one on our list. But it’s a really important starting point to progress from in the coming year. Record what you aimed to achieve in 2025, and what actually played out. Then, file the info in a handy place so you can grab it when you return to work after your Christmas break.
- Organise Your Records
No one likes to walk into the office and discover a big mess from the year before! Clean up your financial records now so that you don’t find yourself in a pigsty come 2026! This should include your digital files and your physical ones.
- What Worked and What Didn’t?
After the hazy glow of a summer holiday, you might not remember the specifics of what happened this year. Take a small amount of time to write down three things that worked particularly well and three things that didn’t. This info will be very helpful when you go to set your goals for 2026.
